Our Akelas attended the Akela Award Presentation last Saturday at Hwa Chong Institution to receive their awards. The Guest-of-Honour was Mr Lee Pak Sing, Director, Culture & Education Programme, Singapore Youth Olympics Games Organising Committee.
A total of 88 awards were presented to Akelas from 15 primary schools. Of the 13 Akelas with Honours, we are very proud that 5 of them are Gongshangers.
